Delivering a sensitivity of 87db @2.83v/1m, the compact OWB4.2 carries forward the legacy left behind by the award-winning original Debut series.

Housed in a thick MDF cabinet with a classy black ash vinyl finish it incorporates larger internal braces for greater stiffness and strength to reduce cabinet vibrations. Sporting a pragmatic design thought, the bass ports of the OWB4.2 are located at the bottom of the cabinet allowing placement against on walls without any compromise in sonic performance. You can use this on-wall speaker as part of a multichannel surround system by pairing it with other speakers from the Elac Debut 2.0 series.

The Elac Debut 2.0 OWB4.2 incorporates a 1" cloth dome tweeter. The innovative and revised silk-dome tweeter sports a wide-roll surround that reproduces up to 35,000 Hz for a crisp and clear high-frequency response. The updated waveguide improves directivity control and reduces the diffraction to deliver an ultra-wide frequency response.

Improved woven Aramid fiber woofer

The Elac Debut 2.0 OWB4.2 sports a custom-engineered 4" mid-bass driver. The improved shape of the aramid cone offers even higher stiffness and damping, far superior to polypropylene or paper.
