Definitive Technology Mythos LCR-85 Overview
Elevate your home theater sound indoors and out with the Definitive Technology Mythos LCR-85. The Mythos LCR-85 is a slim, 60-watt, on-wall speaker for use as left-, right-, or center-channel with horizontal and vertical mounting possible.
Featuring a nine-driver, three-way configuration for full-range sound, the LCR-85 is designed for use with TVs 85″ and up and features adjustable extensions to match the aesthetics of your television. The Mythos LCR speakers are IP66 certified for reliable use indoors or in outside covered areas. For your convenience, a wall mount bracket is included.
Slim Profile and Luxury Finishes
The ultra-slim cabinet measures less than 2” deep and features clean, modern aesthetics, refined anodized aluminum finishes, and horizontal or vertical wall-mount compatibility. Symmetrically adjustable extensions expand up to 3.5” to aesthetically frame 85”-class and larger television displays, for a flush look and a streamlined appearance alongside and under your TV.
Nine-Driver Speaker Array
A three-way, nine-driver system comprising six XTDD 3.5” woofers, two XTDD 3.5” mid/bass drivers, and a 1” aluminum dome tweeter projects robust, full-range sound over a wide area.
Acoustically Optimized Cabinet
A highly rigid, tuned, aircraft-grade aluminum enclosure ensures the truest sound, uncolored by cabinet resonances, for pristine sonic reproduction.
XTDD Drivers
Ultra-stiff, 3.5” anodized aluminum dome woofers and midrange drivers eliminate breakup and broaden dispersion, for crisp, clear sound and a spacious, enveloping soundstage.
Aluminum Oxide Dome Tweeter
A 1”, rigid, well-damped Dymension Series tweeter delivers smooth extended response, crisp transients, and pinpoint imaging, for cohesive, lifelike sound that draws you inside the action.
