AVENTAGE RX-A2A
Enjoy immersive multi-channel sound with the Yamaha AVENTAGE RX-A2A 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver. It delivers up to 100W of power per channel at 8 Ohms and features Dolby Atmos and DTS:X compatibility for object-based audio support. Built-in Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 support allows the receiver to wirelessly stream music from compatible sources, such as smartphones and tablets, while Yamaha’s Compressed Music Enhancer helps to deliver optimized sound quality.
Onboard Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity allows the AVENTAGE RX-A2A to access music from your network or the internet. Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri compatibility enable you to control certain functions of the receiver with just your voice through your voice assistant-enabled devices. With seven HDMI inputs and one output, this receiver can act as a video switcher for your HD source components. It will pass through HDR 4K UHD signals for enhanced viewing of compatible content when paired with a compatible display. YPAO RSC multipoint sound optimization will calibrate the receiver to your speakers and room setup for a tailored listening experience.
These object-based sound technologies are designed to create realistic surround sound, positioning and moving individual sounds to nearly any virtual point in your room, including overhead.
Anti-Resonance Technology Wedge
The Anti-Resonance Technology Wedge is a fifth foot in the center of the receiver. It is engineered to dampen vibrations from the power transformer, power transistors, and heat sinks, as well as vibrations that might be caused by the sound from the speakers.
CINEMA DSP 3D
This sound field creation technology is designed to effectively reproduce the spaces of concert halls and music clubs in your home for a more realistic soundstage.
4K60 Resolution with 8K60 and 4K120 Support via Future Firmware Update
The RX-A2A supports end-to-end 4K UHD resolution and higher refresh rates for a smoother, more realistic viewing experience. 8K60B and 4K120AB support is scheduled to be added via a future firmware update.
Dolby Vision, HLG, and BT.2020 Support; HDR10+ via Future Firmware Update
Dolby Vision, HLG, and BT.2020 provide deeper contrast and more vibrant images that stay true to the creator’s intent when paired with compatible content and displays. HDR10+ support is scheduled to be added via a future firmware update.
Control via the MusicCast App
The free MusicCast app puts control of the receiver into the palm of your hand. Access your sources and streaming services, adjust volume and sound settings, and link with other MusicCast devices for simultaneous playback throughout your home.
Voice Control with Amazon Alexa and MusicCast
With Alexa voice control integration, all you have to do is ask. Use any Alexa-enabled device, such as your Echo or Echo Dot, to control either the receiver by itself or multiple MusicCast devices throughout your home.
AV Setup Guide App
This app provides guidance through installation, cable connections, and various other settings, and includes web setup for custom integration.
Wireless Surround Speakers via MusicCast Surround with Optional Equipment
Combine the receiver with optional MusicCast wireless speakers and enjoy the convenience of a home theater with wireless surround speakers in a 5.1-channel setup.
YPAO RSC with Multipoint
YPAO (Yamaha Parametric Room Acoustic Optimizer) analyzes the room acoustics with the included microphone to tune your system for optimal sound in your room. It uses precision EQ calculation to help achieve natural room acoustics. RSC (Reflected Sound Control) is used to further optimize sound parameters for enhanced performance from CINEMA DSP, Dolby Atmos, and DTS:X.
ALLM, VRR, QFT, and QMS via Future Firmware Update
These gaming and multimedia features help provide more seamless motion and transitions for enhanced overall performance. Support for these on three HDMI inputs, allowing simultaneous connection of multiple next-generation consoles, is scheduled to be added via a future firmware update.
Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization via Future Firmware Update
This virtual surround sound technology simulates the effect of height speakers to create the Dolby Atmos experience with only forward-facing drivers. This feature is a planned addition via a future firmware update.
